Black Medick Medicago lupulina
Black Medick (Medicago lupulina)

I would like to dedicate this blog to the plants and animals from my neighbourhood. Which I see every day and am fascinated by again and again. Because they defy the odds of urban habitats with elegance and tenacity.

That sounds a bit to veeeeery pathetic. True. Because this blog also serves me as a project for pictures that I cannot place on my other pages, but which I nevertheless consider worth showing.

Lesser Stag Beetle Dorcus parallelipipedus
No idea what this Lesser Stag Beetle woman is looking for in the rotting cherry. The picture was taken in my allotment garden.
